On sunday May 15th 2005 it was the end of an era when Corinth Tower was demolished. The tower had been built in 1966 and its views spread from Everton Park to the Mersey. It was 23 storeys high, had 176 flats and 45 flights of stairs. It took 26 weeks to prepare for the demolition and the exclusion zone around the site was nearly 1000 feet.
